90th anniversary of La Poule au Pot - A Four-Hands Collaboration in New York with Daniel Boulud
To celebrate the 90th anniversary of La Poule au Pot, a special event was held in New York on June 10, 2025, featuring a four-hands dinner prepared by Jean-François Piège and his friend, multi-Michelin-starred chef Daniel Boulud, at his restaurant Le Gratin. It was an opportunity to bring La Poule au Pot experience to guests on the other side of the Atlantic and to pay tribute to the timeless spirit of French gastronomy.
For this occasion, Jean-François Piège published, for the first time, a book entirely in English, featuring the best recipes from La Poule au Pot. It is titled “My French Cuisine at La Poule au Pot” and features around a hundred recipes, all originating from and served at this famous Parisian institution. Under the artistic direction of M/M (Paris), this book brings together the restaurant’s signature recipes with a single promise: to bring French gastronomy to life beyond borders. It’s a way to pay homage to a cuisine that’s been simmering for ages, deeply rooted in its local traditions. The French version, “Ma cuisine française à La Poule au Pot,” was released shortly thereafter, on September 3, 2025.
