À l’Épi d’Or, a popular, family-friendly bistro
It is in the 1st arrondissement, just a short walk from the Bourse de Commerce, that Élodie and Jean-François Piège have opened their fifth restaurant, À L’Épi d'Or—a Parisian institution dating back to the 1920s. This establishment, steeped in the pure tradition of popular, family-style bistro cuisine, offers dishes that are simple, flavorful, and served quickly. The menu, intentionally concise and following the rhythm of the seasons, features a different weekly rotation with daily appetizers, main courses, and desserts, as well as classics such as pâté en croûte, steak tartare, and riz au lait.
